Thank you for coming to shoot with us! We love to spoil our clients so get ready for a fun experience and beautiful photos.

We started this project to create art and fashion inspired images celebrating women’s strength and beauty. It has been an incredibly positive experience in which women have been facing fears, exploring vulnerability, adopting a body positive attitude, and generally finding confidence. It’s awesome to witness and be a part!

When you arrive at our studio we’ll look at sample images for inspiration, check out what items you brought, and plan some photo ideas. We’ll also have some beverages available including wine if you’re over 21.

“Boudoir” is a word that refers to a woman’s wardrobe. To put it simply, pack a suitcase! You can’t bring too much. We like to use your everyday clothing to create beautiful photos. Although we won’t use everything, it’s great to have lots of options. Have fun picking out anything you feel is stylish, sexy, or meaningful. Also, check out our “what to bring” list below for more ideas.

This will be a fun experience where we work together to create beautiful images. We love working with real people who aren’t necessarily models. Our best advice to look amazing is to be confident and uninhibited. Confidence is beautiful and it will come through in your photos. Secondly, trust us to help you look gorgeous. The more you trust us, the more creative and helpful we can be.

This shoot is between you and us. Your privacy is very important to us and we will not share your images without your permission. If you have a significant other, we also suggest you discuss with them what you choose to share. If after your session there are a few images you wouldn’t mind us sharing as part of our portfolio, we’ll love you for it. 🙂

Everyone has a different level of comfort with showing their body. For our part, we are not bothered by the nude figure and you can check out our portfolio to get a sense for what we think is artistic and beautiful. Ultimately, we can take great photos no matter what.

What to bring and tips: The most essential and versatile items to have on hand are jeans, black bra, black underwear/thong, and heels (make legs look great!). We love things that are translucent or stretchy. Also, bring anything you feel is stylish or sexy including skirts, boots, boxer shorts, summer shorts, men’s shirt, jean or leather jacket, button/zip up shirts or sweaters, fitted tops, sheer tops, lingerie, sheer teddy, night shirt, scarves, dresses, sundresses, sweaters, accessories and statement pieces like necklaces and hats. You can’t bring too much.

On the way over, please avoid elastics that might make an impression in your skin. Also, we’ll have an empty garment rack for you so feel free to keep clothing on hangers. We’ve learned that the best dynamic in the studio happens when it’s just you and us. Though we prefer not to have others present, please check with us in advance if you would like to bring a friend. For payment, we accept credit cards and cash. Since we put a lot of time and effort into preparing for your shoot, we collect a $100 non-refundable deposit that goes toward your session fee. If you give us at least a weeks notice, we can reschedule your shoot with the same deposit one time.

Hair and Makeup: Style your hair and makeup so you feel great! If you don’t usually wear much makeup, we recommend wearing just a bit more than your everyday look. Also, a neutral or French nail is usually best and please avoid spray tanning. If you want to spoil yourself a bit, we recommend a professional hair and makeup artist. We know some amazing artists that we can schedule to meet you at our studio 60-90 minutes before the shoot ($150).
